07:52 am: Of course
Of course, the first day I go out without a thick jacket, the weather
has turned colder. Last night, however, when it was still warm at 11,
we had all done our own things. David was with the youth group,
Matthew was at home on the computer and Christopher was at a birthday
party in New Brighton. And we went off to the monthly church meeting.
Tonight, I need to write most of the sermon for Sunday morning: by
now, I have not only some ideas at also the book recommended for the
sermon series, of which I have now read the parts relating to ch 11
and 12. New topic: there are more pictures from the fun run online,
and I will post some more later. It was indeed a great night.

So what is your sermon going to be on? I feel like I think and breathe religion at the moment!

2 Samuel 12. Not sure yet. It's not an easy passage to use for an upbeat sermon.
Perhaps God's grace.

Hmm, yeah, that's heavy stuff indeed. Is it saying that there's no point trying to drive a bargain with God? No point trying to force God's hand. The power is in the praise, thanking God for the situation you are in, not asking God to change it, just work with what God gives you.

And God forgives all. Nice stuff really *g* ...heh.
