That most feared form of humour: the COBOL joke. However, the rain this morning has been spectacular, veritably BBC weather. We're into winter for sure. This morning's LJ entry is caused by my having finished last week's Economist before the next one arrives. As I look up, I see Jane Eyre, a Douglas Adams book and On the Field...(rest of title obscured) being read by other passengers. I cannot see anyone reading The Dominion, which should worry their circulation department, but probably doesn't.
