Another long day

After an early start, off to toastmasters. Today, I revisited my ice breaker speech, the introductory speech in a club. It seemed to in well. Most of the rest of the day, by contrast, wasn't so good, as I struggled to get masses of data out of a system using an application programme we could call sub optimal. Eventually got what I needed, but by now the death burger car at the station has closed. Nevertheless, home and so food is only half an hour away.

Good morning

It's another day in New Zealand, with a blue sky and a light breeze. Not a great deal has happened. Reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated. It's fun updating from a phone again, but I'm restricted to short messages. However, I still find there's not always anything to say. I couldn't check my mailbox last might because the post office lock was broken. That's a real PO box I'm talking about here, not this email stuff.
