World premiere

Last night, we had the privilege to attend the world premiere of the Lord of the Rings symphony, conducted by the composer, Howard Shore, at the Michael Fowler Centre in Wellington.
Yes, it was as good as we thought it would be. Six movements, one from each of Tolkien's books, which of course meant that we heard music from Return of the King for the first time.
I'm sure that there will be reviews of the concert elsewhere on the web, but suffice to say it wa a marvellous evening for us all.
