At http://stuff.co.nz/stuff/0,2106,2969765a13,00.html I read (as part of an article about the merger of ANZ anb NBNZ foreign exchange operations)

BNZ foreign exchange manager Mike Symonds said a lack of liquidity would tend to exagerate both upward and downward moves. "But I certainly wouldn't say the merger was going to have any major implications.

Then just a few minutes later I read "Actual pick-up attempt", which is on the web at http://www.netfunny.com/rhf/jokes/95q1/pickuplist118.html and contains

  • Has never hit a silver-medalist in the knee with a club
  • The part he played in the bombing of Hiroshima is largely exagerated
  • Has never gambled away a girlfriend in Las Vegas, as well as many other places in the world
Coincidence? Or just an example of lousy spelling in two independent articles?
