Clothes shopping

I really did need some new stuff, so in a mad day, I bought two pairs of casual trousers, a pair of jeans, a jacket, assorted socks and underwear and a shirt. That should keep me going for a while. It's a beautiful but frosty morning here in the Harbour City. Welcome to the new working week, the last of the month.

If that was Monday, we've had it

Apart from the slow train, it wasn't a bad day. News from Big David that he probably has a new job, though where in the world I don't know, bits and pieces from elsewhere, and a direction to the day. Jess saw me at the station after work, and offered me a lift home. So I got a lift home with Kathryn, Neil and Jess. It's important to go home by road occasionally, to remind me why I usually catch the train... Speech contest at Upper Hutt club tonight.
