Train stuff

The bus was late again this morning, so we sturried through the subway to the station, where the 7.45 stopper was waiting. As we reached the platform, an express arrived, with rail staff blocking the doors to one coach unit, directing us to the next one. Unfortunately, the late running of the train, combined with being a carriage down, means that it is full. The driver has helped solve this problem by not stopping at Woburn. I'm sure those people are delighted. I still refuse to recognise that a train is full if people can stand on it without needing to touch each other. If I had brought The Economist with me, I would be reading that rather than typing rubbish here. That is all.
