Live from the City of Sails

An uneventful flight north except for some turbulence. A reasonable size of farewell group in Wellington: thank you to all of you for coming and wishing us well. We're now on a shuttle at Ak airport, waiting for it to leave and take us to Sky City, where we will visit the tallest tower in the S hemisphere. The door is closed, We're on our way. It's overcast here, not too cool. David has just taken a mobile call: This is not Nigel. This is not Nigel's phone. You've called before. Please don't call me again. That is all.

Leaving New Zealand

At the airport, through all the customs, immigration and security formalities. Waiting to board. We've just had tea at the place upstairs, which is much better than the Arches, though the boys still had chicken nuggets and fries. And my phone is about to become a pumpkin, as it won't be working here any more. I've deleted the camera pictures from it, especially the ones we don't want anyone else to see. Next stop: Los Angeles. That is all.
