ian and viv

Colin preached magnificently from John 2, the story of the wedding at Cana where Jesus turned water into wine. Much fun was had by all. Then we went home via Angela's place. Not much of an afternoon: it's rare for us to have much afternoon on a Sunday. David came home, rather disappointed that his bow had snapped. It's not something we can repair: it must be replaced. So he and we set off to the evening service, telling us some more of Ezekiel's work. And after an evening meal, the evening was almost over.
Monday started with me signing on, before I returned home for lunch. Then Viv went off for coffee while I spent the afternoon applying for jobs and talking to recruiters. The evening was a meeting of the prayer group.
It occurs to me that this is more of a list than any sort of a reflection of what I've been doing, and may not be of much interest to readers. Perhaps I'll be more inspired another time...
Today is an inspirational day anyway: the 19th day of September: our 19th wedding anniversary. It's also International Talk Like a Pirate Day, of course. Arrrr!
Coffee and stuff later. The plan is for Viv and me to go out for a meal together this evening.
