Saturday, cold

It's been another week. I've had a bit of a cold this week, but nothing too bad. Tuesday night we watched another episode of Lewis. Wednesday evening was another Bible study, this time looking at the church in Thyatira. But as for the days, little to say, as usual. Thursday was quiet too, though lunchtime was interrupted by a talk to one of the trainers at our gym.
Thursday night: out to a cheese and wine party, which wasn't nearly as bad as it might have been. A chance to catch up with some of the people from church and meet some new people.
Friday: Red Nose Day, for the Comic Relief charity. Events throughout the day: quizzes, pictures of us as teenagers, cakes...a fun day for all. And in the evening, Viv was off at a candle party. I'm sure there are lots of jokes I could make about that, but I can't think of any at the moment.
And today, off to a prayer meeting for our friends in Tanzania, then off to New Ferry to pick up a parcel we discovered we hadn't collected. I expect Viv will mention it soon. And then I called into Aldi and picked up a tub of prawns, which I hate.
Then home: while Viv and David went off to paint the rectory, I stayed home and snoozed. My best help for decorating the rectory is: stay away!
But late this afternoon it was time to watch the game, order an early curry for evening-meal and set off on a walk to buy a gift for some friends.
But now we're back, warming up and watching the television.
