  • 08:51 Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain. Rain and grey skies in Wembley and express trains roaring through the station. But nearly weekend. #
  • 17:33 Northern Line stuffed between Camden Town and Kennington. So probably not great north and south of there. Have a great weekend, all. #
  • 18:03 I'm on the train! In this case, it's the 18.10 from Euston on its way to Chester and Wrexham or Holyhead. #
  • 19:08 It's raining here near Nuneaton. I think it's been raining on and off through the whole of the country. #

10cc

It's been a pretty good week, but a busy one. I got back at a decent
time last night.
Today, Viv has gone off to deliver Christian Aid envelopes back to the
church, to buy some shoes and to go to Messy Church.
Late this morning, Jon texted to ask if I was free next Friday and to
ask about the 10cc shows I'd heard about. That's his all-time
favourite band, or at least it used to be.
I went to the web, where I was horrified to discover that their gig at
the Liverpool Phil is TONIGHT !!!
So I texted him back. Long story short, he got in touch with me a few
minutes ago and I'm now on the train to Liverpool to see if there are
tickets available and meet Jon there. If there are, we'll see the
band. If not, we won't... The box office number isn't answering and
the website is broken, but not saying sold out.
What did I do this afternoon? Took delivery of an order from Asda,
stayed in while our broadband and tv were upgraded (50MB woo-hoo) but
failed to wash the dishes. Oh, and C persuaded me to buy pizza.
If it hadn't been for a couple of torrential downpours, I'd have put
the washing on the line, but it really was BBC weather.
Yes, it"s beautiful now, but it wasn't earlier. NZ is not the only
place to get four seasons in one day.
