Friday

A very quiet couple of days here, though Viv has been busy. Wednesday evening was more on Ephesians, while time has been taken up here with things like reading, washing dishes, updating websites, watching Inspector Morse, preparing for the International Supper and other events this weekend and loads of other ephemeral strands of life.
Read about the forthcoming weekend at http://www.tech4christ.co.uk/bpc/control.php?&topgroupname=Whats_on&groupname=DownToEarth - we will have family representation on Friday night, Saturday early morning, Saturday afternoon, Saturday evening and Sunday evening.
In Dunfermline, a massive Labour majority has been wiped out as the Liberal Democrats win a famous victory in the by-election. Tony Blair has another bad night. He's making a habit of these bad nights, and it's shaping up to be a bad year for him. And it's only February. Meanwhile, what on earth is Labout doing? They are privatising QinetiQ. Is that what the Labour Party is supposed to do? Anyone remember this?
To secure for the workers by hand or by brain the full fruits of their industry and the most equitable distribution thereof that may be possible upon the basis of the common ownership of the means of production, distribution, and exchange, and the best obtainable system of popular administration and control of each industry or service.
