There's always the latest NZ Post advert. The midwife says to a new father as she hands his newborn son to him. "You only have one father, eh." which sets off a bunch of flashbacks to the father as a younger man storming out of home shouting at his own father, some letter writing and finally a reunion with his much older father. Who needs a two hour movie when a thirty second commercial will do. Okay, that wasn't a marriage portrayal but NZ Post has come out with some great father ads lately.
Spy Kids at least has a functional family that has plausible family relationships amongst the implausible. I'll give it some thought, although my wife's response to the question was "Good Luck"
