Just after lunch, two mini bus vans took us up the coast for John's funeral. I'm not going to dwell on it, except to say that the place was packed. The thunderstorm started just as we were leaving, lighting up the Kapiti Coast as we came back south. After that, a train home and tea. I took David to and from music practice tonight, and I was stopped by a random compulsory breath test in both directions. Sober as a judge, it seems, but not a surprise. A normal day tomorrow? Maybe so.
