Night of the Notables

In fact, there were lots of tables. Over seventy children, acting as notable characters from history, with supporting displays from the programme they have been following for the last two terms. Avalon school hall was packed out with parents and supporters, to a remarkable extent. All in all, a very successful evening. Our boys were Tolkien and Genghis Khan. A blind boy as Louis Braille stole the whole evening, however. A lot of work for all concerned. And now it's over.
